NSW: Bell told to burn in hell after being jailed

A victim of paedophile PHILIP HAROLD BELL has yelled burn in hell after the former
millionaire was jailed for at least 10-and-a-half years.

Speaking outside the New South Wales District Court later, the now 28-year-old man told
journalists the abuse makes him cry regularly.

In setting a maximum 14-year term, Judge THOMAS DAVIDSON said for decades BELL had induced
boys into sexual activities knowing his conduct could harm them socially, emotionally and
psychologically.

BELL, who will be 73 when he becomes eligible for parole, was jailed for 75 offences
against 18 boys aged from 12 to 15 between 1978 and 1991.
