QLD:Govt extends flood grant assistance

BRISBANE, Jan 12 AAP - The Queensland government has extended flood assistance grants
and concessional loans for primary producers and small businesses.

State Premier Anna Bligh announced on Wednesday that there are now 22 Local Government
Areas (LGAs) and four partial LGAs in Queensland where primary producers and small businesses
can receive grants of up to $25,000 for flood clean-up and recovery.

Concessional loans of up to $250,000 are also being made available to small businesses
and primary producers in five additional LGAs.
